I’ve been using a few different names inconsistently – “Lucas Gonze”, “Playing in Tongues”, and “there is only”. I going to standardize on “Playing in Tongues.”

I like that it’s only for my space music and not all the other stuff I do, like being a sideman, playing ultra-retro americana.

It’s a nym to match the creative persona. It’s freeing.

In search results I don’t think people looking for my music want to see the stuff they’re always going to get from my real name, like my job and family.
