My most recent Disquiet piece is part of a really good dance production in Armenia. The whole piece is worth a watch, but my part comes in at 9:42 (and again over the closing).
It makes me happy to become part of a thriving creative flow – not just the choreographer Ida Manserian, but also the dancers and the audience. Thank you, Ida. And thanks to Marc Weidenbaum for the Junto.
What she used in the music was the way the tension is released. The music and dance open up, relax, become calm.
Update: I said Turkey the first time out, which is why that is the place name in the post slug. That’s wrong. It is Armenia.
